Introduction to One Tree

One Tree is a leading online voucher system which allows service-based businesses to sell and manage monetary and experience gift vouchers, special offer vouchers and event tickets. This user guide focuses on the Ticketing System.

The One Tree Ticketing System enables you to sell tickets online from your website for in-house events.

Examples of events:

  • Themed afternoon teas
  • Flower arranging classes
  • Cocktail masterclasses
  • Wreath making
  • Bonfire night/firework displays
  • Murder mystery parties
  • Gourmet dining events
  • Tribute bands
  • Christmas dining/New Year’s Eve parties

Customers buy the tickets from your business via an online shop embedded in your website. (This must be on a separate page from the gift voucher or special offers pages). We can provide a landing page if required. You can also sell tickets from your venue. Tickets are delivered by email only with the dispatch managed by One Tree. Email vouchers are sent out within 5 minutes of the order, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Tickets are set up and sales are tracked and managed in the One Tree management portal. If you use the One Tree gift voucher system and/or the special offers system, you can toggle between the accounts in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

To log into the portal, you can either visit our website at one-tree.net (click on Login) or via https://admin.one-tree.net. Click on the Tickets account on the next page. If this is not available to you, please contact us for activation.

Codes used in the system

Each ticket displays a unique 16-character code for security purposes. This is a mix of letters and numbers. The letters used are A-E.

Other useful reference codes:

Order ID – a six-digit code sent in the subject line of the email order confirmation.

Ticket ID – a six-digit code which appears on the bottom left-hand corner of each ticket.

Ticket status

A ticket can be:

Paid

Waiting to be sent out. This will only be visible in the short time (up to five minutes) before dispatch of the voucher.

Dispatched

These tickets have been sent out to the purchaser and are valid for use.

Redeemed

Tickets can be redeemed in the system to show that they were used.

Cancelled

Tickets may be cancelled if an error was made during manual issue, or they may have been sold, then cancelled and refunded. Tickets showing a cancelled status should not be accepted.
