Manage Categories

For Administrators

Overview

If multiple ticket types are available for sale for several events, they can be arranged into categories to make it easier for purchasers to sort and select their choice from your web shop.

There are two ways of displaying categories:

  1. All tickets are displayed with a drop-down menu to sort on different ticket categories e.g. Festive Teas, Murder Mystery Parties, Cocktail Masterclasses. This type of category could be used if the same event takes place on a regular basis, e.g. monthly dining events.
  2. Tickets of the same type are displayed behind a category image. This is used if you are selling many options. E.g. you may wish to display tickets under: Monetary, Dining, Spa and Accommodation. This option can also be used if you are managing sales for multiple venues from a single One Tree account. The tickets can then be displayed by venue.

Tickets can be shown under more than one category. Click on the category required when editing.

Categories can be published or unpublished. E.g. A Mother’s Day category can be set up and unpublished after the event. The tickets will be stored until needed again.
